A good friend of mine wrote this, I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did.
A Spring Intention
Cascading waters in streams overflows
Nourished from melting, winter snows
Temperature rises with every newborn day……
Mother nature knows
Brother sun peeks through the gray ceilings of winter clouds,
bursting golden rays
past the haze in the skies
and in our hibernating eyes
Sister moon reflected light
She surrenders the night
Green explodes through thinning snows
the God and the Goddess,
they also know……..
it is spring!
In anticipation, we watch green man wrap the earth
in his evergreen garland.
We, along with brother stag and sister nymphe merge from our burrow man made, may it be.
In the fertile wombs, and on the fertile fields we spill our sperm and plant our seed.
Athame meets chalice, free of malice lovers unite!
On this night the triple moon Goddess,
she smiles and she blesses!
maid yesterday
mother today
crone tomorrow, no sorrow only joy.
Raise up the maypole! Dance sky clad!
In this season, we celebrate!
We set our intention, our good intention, our pure intention.
Love in heart, and in soul, tempers our intention
A peaceful thought, blesses it.
A kind word, A hug heart to heart
To the universe, we release our wish
our prayer our hearts desire, free of ire
our hope our passion our yearning, for that learning
our longing and our thirst It doesn’t matter who’s first fulfilling, satiating, satisfying our want
and our whim, with a smile, open arms and open hearts we draft and design our manifestations
and in a year and one day we become, pure love.
We call on seraphim and cherubim Cernunos, Isis, Dionysus and Osiris, Oden, Krishna, SivaPele,
Jesus, Buddha, Allahand, without sigh,to the thee, the Most High!
Jah, Rastafari! Give birth, bless, consecrate and embody, our manifestation.

Ostara
Ostara is coming, those first signs of the new spring that is getting closer. Warmer, longer days! A time of rejoicing, feasting and celebration. The spring equinox happens March 21st, 2010. During this same basic time frame the Christians celebrate Easter, and the Jews celebrate Passover. Eostre the Germanic Goddess of spring. A time of planting. Although the original Celts did not celebrate this holiday they did honor the changing of the seasons. At this vernal equinox, the first day of spring both day and night are equal bringing balance. All the earth is awakening from it's slumber of the cold nights of winter. All of nature is renewing itself. This is a wonderful time of color, family and friends celebrating the fullness of life itself. Take the time to plan to attend an Ostara ritual and feast in your area and if there isn't one, then start one with your friends and family. You'll find it to be a wonderful time of the year to look forward too.
